Michael Turner

Michael Turner has been writing music since he was 14 years old. He quit counting after one thousand songs. Music is the most important thing in his life except for his family. He knew when he was very young that he wanted to write music, but not be the best singer or guitar player; he wanted to be a song writer. Michael has always had a vivid imagination. He can place himself in any situation, "real or fantasy" and then write about it. He has been writing poems and short stories most of his life. He doesn't know what writer's block is, as there is always something to write about. Michael has even written a song about Tennis shoes; there is so much about life to write about, and he feels truly blessed to be a writer. His accomplishment will be leaving a musical diary of his life and many views regarding his music. What this really means to Michael...how cool is that?

My partner in music, Peter Webb had some lyrics for this project "World Peace For Animals," and I was lucky enough to put my music to his words. Then I did some research about the project. I thought to myself, "What a great cause."

The song, "I Found My Paradise" is about being able to co-exist with nature. When I see a caged animal, or one that has been abused, it saddens me.

We are the caretakers of this Planet whether we like it or not. It is our responsibility that the eco system and nature are at a balance, and throughout the history of mankind, we have taken so much-it is time for us to give back. We have caused many animals to go extinct through our carelessness, and they will never come back. We need to protect what animals we have left on our Planet!
